Volunteer at MVCA

Volunteers are a huge part of Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, and we want to take today to say thank you to a very special artist and volunteer who has been helping out behind the scenes for some time now. Artist & volunteer Lutz Scherneck comes equipped with expertise in all things art. He’s got the know how when it comes to using the tools needed for assisting MVCA in hanging art safely and strategically while keeping in mind aesthetics. His creative vision and input over the years has challenged us as an art center and continues to assist in our growing improvement as an organization in support of artists and their art. Lutz is generous with his time. He is passionate, thoughtful, and is ever inspiring the crew at MVCA to think about art in new ways. If you see Lutz out and about the community, thank him for all that he’s done and continues to do for MVCA, for art, and for artists in this community!
