Artist Spotlight Wendy Stevens
I’m inspired by how certain colors blend: sky colors, water, clouds. I love to see the colors change, and bleed into each other. I spent 20 years painting decorative wood shapes for craft shows. I painted with a woman who taught Tole Painting. It was based on drawings that had a folk art feel. I loved the designs, and used the style for many years. My art now is more free form, and some original drawings of my own. I’ll never stop making art in my own way.
