You helped us reach our goal and more! Thank you to EVERYONE who donated to MVCA through the Community Foundation’s MOHAWK VALLEY GIVES campaign.
We were challenged to raise $10,000 to meet a $10,000 match from the UpMobility Foundation. With support from new donors, past funders, and current members, we succeeded in meeting that challenge. With the match, we are proud to report we raised a total of $23,705! These funds will support programming, events, exhibits and other activities of the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts.
We are so pleased to announce that your generosity led to our being awarded not one, but two cash prizes: Raise the Roof Prize of $250, for raising the most money in the early phase of the campaign, 9/1-9/19, sponsored by Pulver Roofing; and a Most Dollars Prize of $2,500, for most money raised between 9/1-9/20, (1 of 3 such prizes based on organization size), sponsored by Staffworks and M&T Bank.
Thanks also to our board members for early giving; to all the volunteers who helped get the word out; to the prize sponsors whose awards were a delightful surprise; and to everyone who donated in any amount that helped us over the $10,000 line.
