If you haven’t submitted your entry to MVCA’s 2022 Juried Regional Art Exhibition, do it now!
Deadline for digital submissions is midnight, September 15. Only digital entries will be accepted. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for a single nonrefundable entry fee of $20 for MVCA members or $25 for nonmembers. This is a change from previous years and the earlier 2022 Prospectus.
Accept or Reject entry emails sent out September 26. Accepted works to be delivered to MVCA September 30/October 1. Award Ceremony/Opening Reception October 9, 2-4PM. Exhibition closes November 17.
Prize money will be awarded and the First Prize Winner will also have a Solo Exhibit: $500 First Prize; $300 Second Prize; $200 Third Prize as determined by the Juror, Tom Montan, artist and Executive Director, Sculpture Space, Inc., Utica.
All submissions must be original to the artist, suitable for display, and not previously exhibited at MVCA. No POR (Price on Request) or NFS (Not For Sale) works. Two dimensional artwork cannot exceed a total of 42″ wide including the frame. Artwork must be framed and ready to hang with screw eyes and wires securely attached. Sculptures cannot exceed 24″ wide/long and 24″ high. All accepted artwork must remain on display through the closing of the exhibition. A 30% commission will be taken by MVCA for any sales during the exhibition.
