MVCÅ is participating in the Little Falls Community Outreach/Rainbow Club PRIDE CELEBRATION in Burke Park, Saturday, June 11, 10AM-4PM.  We will be showcasing artwork by contemporary ceramic artist Vartan Poghosian at our table in Burke Park.  Poghasian was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, where he attended the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational Complex and concentrated in ceramic arts.  After serving in the military, Poghasian immigrated to the United States and settled in Upstate New York.  He began teaching and volunteering at art centers and community colleges.  In 2009, he founded the community art center 4 Elements Studio, first as a ceramic studio and then offering exhibition space and art classes to children, adults, immigrants, and people with disabilities.

During the pandemic in 2020, Poghosian founded Clayville Pottery, where he produces most of his original and production ceramic work.
