CREDENTIALS: Lutz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from the Syracuse University School of Visual and Preforming Arts.
MEDIA: Mixed Media
SPECIALTY: Lutz’s expressive abstracts feature swaths of flowing color cascading across the canvas. Whether his work is abstract or contains natural motifs, paint is the dominant subject.
CLASS(ES) OFFERED AT THE MVCA: Better Art: Mixed Media. All levels of experience are welcome. Students will work with various media of their choosing, including materials for quick sketching and painting exercises. Classroom and at-home assignments will help to improve artistic awareness. Suggested media include, pastel, crayon, acrylic, pencil, and watercolor.
AWARDS: Lutz’s work has been on display throughout Central New York, and he has received numerous awards of recognition. Visitors to Little Falls, NY can view his large mural on Albany Street.
