Mixed Media with Frank Wilcox

Class Specifics: Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM on January 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9, 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16 Cost: $225 for members, $255 nonmembers; Walk-ins permitted at $40 per session for members, $45 for nonmembers
Class Description: Students are invited to work with a variety of media — acrylic, oil, pencil, charcoal, etc. — at their own pace. Frank will give group demonstrations and each student will also receive a great deal of individual attention. Students need to bring their own materials: oils, acrylics, drawing media, paper, canvas, etc.
About the Instructor: Frank has been teaching art since 1960 to students of all levels of ability, from pre-school through adult. He received his BS and MS in art at SUNY New Paltz. Frank has had solo shows at MVCA, View, Old Forge Library, Ilion Library, and Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts. An award-winning artist, Frank’s work is featured throughout the Mohawk Valley and Adirondacks, including numerous private collections.
