Landscape Painting in Watercolor
Sessions: Six, 2-hours sessions on Wednesdays: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5
Time: 10 AM – 12 PM
Cost: Members $220, Non-members $250
Course: Instruction will focus on seeing the landscape as a painter. Subjects covered will be materials used in watercolor or painting, angles and consequent values of the landscape, aerial and linear perspective for the artist, design and color, using your sketches and photos to create a painting and how to use your sketch book to record information when on location.
Students will enjoy painting demonstrations at the beginning of each class and individual instruction as the students work on their paintings.
