David Mentus is a muralist and digital illustrator, originally from Brooklyn and now based in the vibrant community of Utica, NY. His artwork reflects a deep passion for nature, with recurring motifs of animals, plants, and insects breathing life into his pieces. Whether painting large-scale murals or crafting digital illustrations for galleries, brands, and products, David’s work consistently channels his love for the natural world. As an arti nstructor at 4 Elements Studios, he teaches a wide array of disciplines, including pottery, painting, drawing, and printmaking. In his own practice, he primarily works in Procreate but is also highly skilled in Adobe Fresco, Illustrator, Animation, Photoshop, and Sketchbook. When he’s not creating, you can find him outside, immersed in the outdoors, gardening or birdwatching, always seeking new inspiration for his next project.
