Volunteer Opportunities

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!! We need you here at MVCA. Are you retired, a frustrated party planner, a techie with time on your hands, a student with a desire to be involved with differing projects, a lover of art, or someone who loves to clean clean clean? You can find a home here at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts in Little Falls. 

We have an art gallery, The Selective Eye Gift Shop, a quarterly publication of Art Matters, many fundraising activities throughout the year that require staffing, 10 Art Gallery Receptions a year, and a multitude of workshops and classes that need set up and tear down.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS AT THE MOHAWK VALLEY CENTER FOR THE ARTS

  • Do you work in graphics? We need help with posters and ad design
  • Artists and crafters willing to teach in their area of expertise
  • Distribute posters and advertising locally
  • Help with mailings, labels, stamping, organizing by zip code
  • Can you help to update our databases and set up label printing?
  • Work in our Selective Eye Gift Shop on a weekly basis
  • Assist at events, serve food, clean up
  • Help provide tasty treats for Gallery Openings
  • Work with Board Members at special fundraisers and festivals
  • Help tidy up the center and the Selective Eye once a week
